Payin’ the bills-torn opinion

Spending the morning warming up by cutting, splitting and stacking wood.  When ya live off grid, you pay the bill first and enjoy the benefit later.  Firewood warms ya twice, sometimes more.  Its 62°f out, and I’m dripping sweat right now.
I had been holding off on gathering firewood until now, more because i want the sap down and its much nicer weather for the deed.  Cool, but not cold, and as long as ya stay hydrated,  you’re fine.  What I’m dealing with right now is deadfall or dead standing, but dry.  Later, after the leaves fall, I’ll pick up some hardwood that needs cleared out.  Current list is a redoak, black walnut and a Bradford pear that a local treetrimmer cut n dumped on the RR right of way.  I like burning the pear, it burns hot and long and smells nice.  Might even make a good smoker wood, but I don’t cook like that these days.So, the torn opinion.  RGB finally gave in to the age thing.  Tough old bird I’ll give you, but where I am torn at is the timing.  So close to Selection cycle and Trump is gonna be pressed to get a nominee in: one that doesn’t raise eyebrows or become a turncoat like Roberts did will be a challenge.  My suggestion is to pick a black woman simply to appease the Libtards, but she’ll need to be an ultra-conservative to appease the repugnican side.
And I am torn with the whole politic thing right now.  I am seeing more young’uns displaying conservative values, free-market enterprise type values, and they don’t want the socialism thing, but they feel (rightly IMO) that what we have current isn’t right either.
Sadly, when times like these arrive, what happens is revolutionary, but usually in a bad way for a decade or so, until those young’uns get their dope straight. Sometimes its just bad for a long while until people get fed up, like Russia in the late 80s.
Part of me wants Trump to win so that he might have a chance to make good on things.  Part of me wants Harris (admit it, if you are voting for Biden, you are really voting for Harris) to win so that we can kick off this shindig while I still have some fire in my bones.
And a part of me is sayng it doesn’t matter because no matter who wins this Selection, the other side is gonna throw a damned tantrum and the shindig starts on November 4th.
RGB passing is a nothing burger in light of the last. 

On a side note; personal development is seeing an improvement.   Working on rolling kayaks still and hit on a combination that seems to work well for me.  Watch 14 secs of vid to see what I mean; I just need to add water now.
