Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

I remember,,,

I had just pulled an all-nighter at the club. Usual routine up to 2am then an afterparty Rave until 6. My sis and hubby had just come back in off the road and were letting me sleep, that is until the first news reports started streaming in.

Remember, this is before internet streaming services were ubiquitous fair. Phone calls were the fastest info source, IF you had someone on the other end available, otherwise, you glued your butt to the seat and watched.

I was waiting for the call to arms from former command. It never came as the flood of eligible recruits went through the roof for the next six months.

I remember.

I remember screaming at the radio when I heard the infamous saying “We have to pass it to see whats in it” about the Patriot Act Version 1.0.

I remember.

Fast forward 7 years November 5th 2008. I saw a black man standing in front of the Hospital I worked in, sporting a sign “we are finally FREE.”

Weeks later, I listened in as Sotomayor carefully read all of her scripted responses during her interviews into SCOTUS. I woke my neighbors with my ranting that morning.

Oh, I remember. I remember when this country pulled together for 3500 fallen: innocents, first responders, all of them.

Its been 19 years.

I remember.

Obviously many burning our cities do not.

In memory of all those that have fallen, on that horrifying day, and all since, I offer you a free copy of my Ebook listed at the top of the sidebar. I pray what I have written is more inline with what we are soon to witness, though I fear it may be much much worse. The promotion starts at Midnight on the 10th and will run until midnight September 15th. Grab a copy for yourself, or a friend. (Sorry, dead tree edition is NOT on that promo. Printing costs cut very deep in this book.)
