All of the above aspects of what happens when the “failure to communicate” is unresolvable.

Is the experiment over? The Democratic Republic experiment?

IMO, its been dead since around 1900 give or take a decade. In some ways, the killing stroke took place around 1860-65. It just took a while for the ambulatory status to reach zero.

Lets face one fact here, no matter where you stand politically, financially, or in faith, you would be hard pressed to say that we are moving forward as a society. We are backwalking everything, whether we want to or not. Racial splits are as bad or worse than they were in the late sixties and early seventies♡. Government corruption is so wide spread and blatant, its beyond a joke now. Even Religion has turned incompetent and corrupt, from the TV evangelist to an unpopular Pope, with discussions being to split the Catholic church, yet again.

Its not just here in the states: whatever this disease is, (not talking about the ‘rona) it seems like its worldwide. What was the seed that started it? Social media? Free access to most any information or opinion across the nets? Or is this just another evolution like was seen back ’round-a-bout 1774? The year that preceded Kings finding themselves being replaced like old furniture.

I’m gonna watch more,,and keep the finger on the pulse of the corpse (it does occasionally hit). Gonna think some more about events. There are many points where this seems coordinated, and that means an unseen hand manipulating the puppet theater. (Soros foundation? Something more sinister? And we will probably NEVER know with any certainty.)

♧for the record, I do not align with Sam Harris’ politics. At one point my skull nearly imploded from one of his statements “Giving a monopoly on violence to the state is just about the best thing we have ever done as a species.”

This completely goes against my own stance. But his making the point that we need Dialogues is spot on. The real problem comes into play when both sides seem to speak the same language, but come from diametrically opposed views and insist the opposition concur ‘or else’. THAT is where I think we are: irreconcilable differences.
