Seriously, with all the other bullshit going on, the Supremes slipped this under the radar. Transgenderbendingmentalconditions are now formally recognized by this decision.

This, after HHS made the call that sex is biological. (As if that were EVER in question. At least in my world.)

I am not even going to go down this road of fluid sexuality. In my opinion its a polar condition: male, or female. Whom you fuck is your business so long as all parties are consenting, adults, and frickin’ conscious, and breathing. And keep it behind your doors. Don’t want to see it! I grew up in a world where PDA (public displays of affection) was discouraged no matter what bend you followed. And to this day, I still refrain from public displays of such. What went on behind closed doors was between me and her, and no one else, and I didn’t spill my guts about it as bragging rights. There may have been admission I was tupping so and so, but details? Never!

I do not recognize this country anymore. Locally, things haven’t changed much at all, but the words trickling in, this country is doing the physically impossible and fucking itself with full carnal flair.

Toss in riots and racial bigotry that has come full circle, an out of control government demanding outrageous and unnecessary protocols to deal with a bug that flopped, and outright bribing of the public to pass the largest pork-barrel legislation in our entire history,,,,

Fuckit! Let it fail. Let the freaks and crazies run it for a time and burn it to the ground. The wheels came off in Feburary and we are still skidding along under pure momentum; but the shit is no longer repairable. Full replacement is the only option now.

As I said in comments,

I think we, as a country, have hit a low where we are no longer considered a threat by those with the means of delivery of EMP. We are far too dysfunctional now and all (ALL!) Of our leadership is either compromised, incompetent, or undermined by the opposition into a position of uselessness.

Our divorce proceedings haven’t yet begun, we’re still yelling and throwing dishes; but that can’t last, it will escalate. Then we’ll see a breakup, and if whomever the sitting president is, tries to stop it, then we’ll see real war, not just the foot-stomping posturing we see now.

Any re-set now will be into something new. The old America is dead and the corpse is cooling.
