Reflections
Sitting here as the day falls towards night, reflecting on my surfing today. Web surfing, not actual surfing.
Watched a video sent out linked by or sumpin by Matt Bracken.
The first 30 seconds fills in a LOT of blanks, but not in a manner many will be comfortable with. Thats a good thing: our future will not be a comfortable one and getting adapted to it now will make the transition, a little less painful.
I won’t lie, I HATE the way things appear to be headed. I fought once for a cause not my own, but the lessons learned are not forgotten. The fools pushing this have no clue what they are asking for. None! NADA!! They weren’t there at ‘the Highway of Death’ seeing the bloated corpses, burned so hot that bone shows at the thin spots: nose, forehead, knuckles of hands still gripping steering wheels, or melted weapons. They don’t know the smell of scorched and burned yet rotting spoiled meat of human beings laying in the sun for a week before being stumbled over.
The fools have this ‘glorious vision’ of racial and economic equality, both of which is anything but, and that drives them to keep pushing and pushing.
Eventually they will ‘flip that switch ‘ and just like Madam Pandora found, you can’t just put it back in the box, or turn off that switch. Once released, it has to run its full course!
I’m sitting here reflecting on the dichotomy of my own life. I play with a boat design thousands of years old, and communicate on what was a figment of the imagination a mere thirty years ago. I live off grid, similar to how people lived here just 60 years ago, but I have electricity and heat that relies on nothing more than the sun. My house is so much better insulated than the homes of 50 years ago, that in summer, without climate control, it never gets warmer inside than 75°. And I have to watch the outside temps when its cooler or I will overheat the house if the temps stay above 45° outside.
What scares me the most about the things I see, is just how close we already are to a complete breakdown that will set everybody back 100, maybe even 200 years in living conditions. It wont happen overnight, but when/if it does, it will happen fast because our system is so very fragile. Even more so with all of the hits it has taken in just the last 3 months. Delivery systems of all the things taken for granted by even those fools pushing their agenda are only the icing on the cake of what will fail. The delivery system is the final point of all of our infrastructure, and it will be the canary that tells us the air is bad. When it fails, it will domino the rest. No more soy for the soyboys, no more lattes at starbuck’s, no more readily available prepackaged anything at one’s whims. Amazon? History! Obesity? How will any one be able to maintain a 4000 calorie/day diet when you’ll be lucky if you get 1000 in two. (And if you think 1000 is a lot, that is the equivalent of 4 cans of Coca-cola, or 2 Hershey’s candybars. In real food value, its barely a plate of spaghetti with no trimmings.)
No, these fools have no clue what they wish for.
But I can tell them in one word what it is.
Death.
Pure and simple. And those that aren’t ready, and don’t die, will be wishing they had.
Not one clue,,,,
