Writing thoughts.
One of my ‘issues’ in writing is with storylines. Most stories occur in a linear fashion. Not always true, of course: some authors and movie directors play fast and loose with timelines. But readability often requires linear progression.
The problem arises in my thinking patterns. My thinking is anything BUT linear. Its that intuitive nature of my personality. I can take two entirely different pieces of data and come up with a solution with oodles of missing parts. Its been a saving grace with me a few times. It can also be something of a curse.
With writing, its a curse. If I am not jotting down notes about what I am writing, it may end up somewhere in the story, that only Quentin Tarintino would understand.
Anywhoos, just a little something I thought I would share with y’all.
Update on the book. 230 pages 62000 word count so far and I just cracked into the third section, where all the plots start to come together and reach a (tenative) outcome. It may evolve into a sequel; we’ll see. ;-p
Update: Oops. Try 69400 words. I was busy today.
