Microsoft? Grrrr

I mentioned in my last post that I have been doing things backwards, that there is an add-in for word that fills the bill for what I need. And there is, for Word 2010.

I have Word 365, whatever the hell THAT is, but it aint compatible with the add-in,,,

Sssooooo,,I’m still doing shit backwards.

And one of my biggest beefs about that is in Word formatting. I get things looking right export to either Kindle Create or PDF, (one makes the kindle version, the other gets used to make the paperback. They do NOT interchange well) and all of that formatting gets wiped out. Paragraphs get eliminated and a chapter becomes one Huuggggeeee paragraph. But the next chapter will be just fine. Its so bizarre.

And horribly frustrating. So tempted to just go back to Open Office and Linux and be done with it. Only reason I dont is the whole Kindle create aspect. Doesn’t work on a Linux machine.

So whats the point of the post?

Just venting my spleen before it ruptures from Microsuck poisoning.
