Makin’ some changes
And guess what I’m using for all the welding? Yuppers, a good Ol’ Lincoln. Maybe it won’t be a pipeliners rig, but around here, what with farmers, etc, portable is good. I’m setting it up for my oxy/acetylene tanks and torches as well. Oxy on its side, but gas upright, and because I know this area, locks on purtmucheverything, including the hitch when its not on my truck. I found leviton camlocks, like what I used in touring, for the leads: that way they can be removed and locked up if need be. I’d imagine 100′ of 1/0 copper cable would buy a pillhead a nice overdose, but I’d rather not find out.
Still no water time with Duh!kee,😶, winter is still with us, mostly in the form of cold deluges of water. The river is a danged mess, banks getting washed out with trees actually sliding into the river, bank and all. I know it’s just a cycle, like all rivers, but I may be limiting my river time this year. Its a damned mess just the half mile from my house to the main road, and I heard its even worse as you get further downstream. Even so, spring is coming
and I WILL get kayak time in

Now I can get interested in these posts…sorry, yakking ain’t my thang, lol.
Nice piece of procurement and bringing back to life. Still amazed at what some folks just chunk out as junk.
Why not a lock box for cables, gauges, hoses, etc. Definite believe in locks on everything, everywhere. Nowhere safe from thieves anymore….

Was going to make some, but cheaper to pick up a couple of 40mike mike grenade boxes and fit with a hasp. Bolt to front corners of trailer: ouila! Instant lockable storage for torch heads, rod boxes, anything that won’t be in my truckbox. Came up with a cage for the bottles, but thats a future post,,,
Yeah locks n locks n locks. People’round here will steal anything not bolted down, and the only reason they wont steal the bolted down stuff is ‘that takes work’.
