Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

Thoughts during this holiday season.

T.L. Davis is one of my regular reads. Having briefly met him back a few years ago, and heard him speak, he is, IMO, one of the backbone pieces in what I consider “an American Movement”. Patcoms are one part of it and sadly were railroaded by some bad actors. The Militias are another example where some bad actors, intentionally or not, smeared what should have been a key effort.

Anyways. T.L. just published this post, more of a query than post, and I thought to add my prognostication as a natural born systems analyst.

There will be no uprising of patriots anytime soon. We are too far and few between and the numbers of the misguided and useful idiots outnumber us by apx 10:1. Those that do step off the porch will be smeared and labeled “extremists” or as T.L. depicts, “martyrs without a discernable cause”.

What is far more likely to happen is collapse. Financial being the more likely aspect before infrastructure, but one will lead to the other. If the financial collapse happens first, the fallout will be broad scoped and the reactions from state will be proportional. Rather like a wounded animal lashing out at the familiar in fear and pain. Nothing will hold once the center fails and the ‘center’ of our current world is purely financial. This can be observed by simply looking at how religious holidays are now corporatized in such a way as to part hard earned notes from its bearers, or the fact that almost nothing happens without working out the financial sides, first. Even at local levels, and in some cases, the personal level, this is becoming predominate. (Its why we occasionally use terms like ‘cover your ass’.)

Whats going to happen when the center fails. Only God truly knows. But we can extrapolate from many historical scenarios, and some not so historical: one only need look at Venezuela. Dig around, there are personal reports coming out that will raise the hair on the back of your neck. And this is still a country, or state, recognized by most other states as legitimate still. Its hell on earth down there, but the ‘State’ still ‘functions’. That didn’t happen overnight either. Its been like everything else we see: incremental steps that seem logical until the law of unintended consequences kicks in. Slowly boiling the frog. (I question the LoUC, though. Some of these things seem intentional to drive the herd in a desired path, the questions then becomes: WHO is doing the driving? And where are they driving TO?)

We have long since become a State of two sets of laws, where if you’re ‘in the club’ laws don’t really apply to you, so long as you stay in the club. We have a State that only knows spending, never thrift, and can’t even provide the one basic tenent of Statehood, protection of its borders; and flagrantly opens the doors to sustained invasion.

And each year brings more to light, each more brazen than the last. Even local law enforcement thumb noses at the laws they are hired to uphold, but are oh so willing to enforce on the commoners.

No one is going to step off the porch when the yard is a swamp infested with piranhas, gators, and flesh earing bacteria.

Its all going to have to start to unravel before those with the backbone, wherewithal and most importantly, knowledge, can be able to pull their groups together and weather the storms. Those groups will be the crystal seed that grows into the next round of whatever history this world will see. Those that do pull it together will have to be hard, nearly tyrannical at times, but hard times call for hard people. The soft ones will be fertilizer.

I do NOT envision this world government the Libs keep pushing for. There is just too much division between too many factions to make that ‘vision’ any more than a psychotropic hallucination. To believe in it requires several willing disregards of reality and we all know you can ignore reality, but not the effects of ignoring it. (‘I’m not falling’ but you can’t ignore the ground smacking you silly.) In order for it to reach fruition, 80% of the world population would need eliminated, and ALL of the world religions would need wiped out, or sanitized into harmlessness. That ain’t gonna happen without a whole shit-ton of bloodshed. And the surface of the earth would likely be unihabitable as many States would pull out their biggest hammers in resistance. Just can’t see things gettting that far along before the center falls apart, and then, there wouldn’t be enough concentration of power to push it along.

No matter what is coming, it’s going to be rough, ugly, heartbreaking, and, damn all my D.I.’s, character building. Those that hold, will rise out of the rubble and become icons further long the timeline, but before then, they will struggle, scrape, bleed, and lose. Its only failure when you’ve given up.

Don’t give up.

Hold those you treasure closest.

Grow your list of trust, as well as your ‘removal’ lists.

Be ready to make good on the latter list.

NEVER give up!
